Tussar silk, or kosa silk, is a wild silk produced primarily in India from Antheraea silkworms. Its popular in hotter climates due to their unique silk texture which are highly breathable, cool to wear, and lightweight. They are referred to as "Ahimsa" or "peace" silk, as the silk is sometimes collected after the larvae have left the cocoon.
Tussar silk is generally recommended to be Dry Clean Only.
