Every saree we curate begins on a wooden loom in India.
In the master weavers' hands, a single Kanjivaram can take up to three weeks to complete — body and border interlocked in the rare korvai technique, where two colours meet without a seam.
The gold you see is not printed. It is real zari: fine silk thread wrapped in silver and dipped in gold, woven by hand, thread by thread.
